Gorge Walking

Please look at our BLOG to see our most recent adventures: http://a4adventure.blogspot.com/

Taking in the beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the gorge walk follows a two mile route along an attractive yet dramatic river gorge.

Starting in a low gorge that captures the sun, you will move along to a steeper gorge and bigger waterfalls - don't worry though: you are in control of how much you do!!

Along the route you will enjoy a range of challenges to undertake, including:
  • Climbing along rocky walls and outcrops
  • Walking through the river and climbing up waterfalls
  • Exploring a small cave tunnel
  • Swimming through pools and leaping off waterfalls

               and if you dare

  • Taking the ultimate jump off the 30ft Loonies Leap!!

In an awesome walk through the gorge you will decide and control how many challenges you take on and how far you push yourself. Each of the challenges may be walked around if you choose not to do them.

Equally - there is a challenge for even the hardiest adrenaline seekers!!

Difficulty: Medium to Hard (100m hill climb through the woods at the end)

Fear Factor: Low through to High

Location: Dinas Rock, Glynneath

Time: Approx 4 hours
