A relatively new outdoor activity that combines modern technology with old fashioned hill walking and carefree treasure hunting. Using a Global Positioning System handset, you will make your way to given coordinates in order to track down and find a hidden cache of treasure!
	OK, it's not quite treasure; but every cache contains a notepad, interesting artefacts as well as swappable items. a4adventure has hidden a number of geocaches around the Brecon Beacons - some simple to solve, and some a little more testing. As you hunt for each location, you will become more comfortable navigating through the GPS, and more adept at finding the small hideaways, as you wander through the beautiful Welsh countryside

	Geocaching takes place across the globe, needing only a GPS handset and suitable clothing to play. By using the international geocaching website (www.geocaching.com) you will be able to continue playing the geocaching game as often as you like, and for free. By trying geocaching with a4adventure we can introduce you to the basics of the activity, and the technology behind it without you having to buy any expensive navigation equipment!
