| Using select areas of the Brecon Beacons
and Black Mountains you will be shown the basics of navigating by map and
compass.
You will learn how to navigate by map alone, how to navigate by compass alone, and then how to place yourself accurately using map and compass together. |

In pairs or small groups you will then be set loose on a pre-constructed orienteering course where you will have to visit checkpoints and collect codes in a race against each other. |
